Who We Are
Theatre Delicatessen is a national cultural organisation & charity that provides a home, support services and resources to artists and creative enterprises.
Starting as a fringe theatre company working in found spaces in 2007, over the last 8 years the organisation has grown into a unique business at the leading-edge of culture in London and Sheffield.
With a current turnover of £1m made from self- generated income, the company has a core charitable focus on immersive, interactive and participatory art forms, providing venue management, training, support and resources.
But at the heart of our business is an extraordinary artistic & creative community.
Through our collaborations with property developers we have pioneered an entrepreneurial approach to providing studios, workshops and performance spaces for a new generation of creatives.
We believe that through the support of these creative communities, artists and theatremakers can fulfil their artistic potential – whilst developing the wider skills required to make their practice sustainable

Theatre Delicatessen is at an exciting point in its development, and we need to expand our Board of Trustees in response to a rapidly growing business model & turnover.
While we welcome all expressions of interest, we are particularly keen to hear from those with backgrounds in the following:
• Arts Management
• Property Development
• Qualified Solicitors
• Accountancy & Financial Management • Business Management & Strategy
• Human Resources Development
• Creative Technologies
• Local Government & Community
• Branding & Marketing
These roles are voluntary. Expenses are covered. Board members are expected to attend four Board Meetings per year. Meetings are held in London.
