“Everything in life’s like this. You’ve only got what you’re stood up in. Not what you’ve got at home and that. All you’ve got is your body. That’s all there is. There’s nothing else.”
I LOVE YOU WILL U MARRY ME is a new piece of theatre about the unseen things we hold dear. Things in cupboards, under stairs, pushed to the back of wardrobes. That thing in the biscuit tin under the bed. It’s about the objects we don’t look at or use, but would never throw away.
Join Sad Siren Theatre as they invite you to look, and look again, at the objects gathering dust in all our homes. In a live and playful exploration of the space between myth and memory, Sad Siren use their unique storytelling voice to ask what these objects might mean here, today, now. In making the show, Sad Siren collected stories about dormant objects from the people of Sheffield.
Tickets are £10 full price and £7 for concessions. The show starts at 7.45pm and lasts roughly for 60 minutes.
